About Us
Parallax Atelier is a creative partnership between two interior designers, Divia and Nina who met at the Art Gallery of Ontario, while volunteering at their children's school field trip.
“We immediately connected through our mutual love of design and discovered
our shared dream of becoming entrepreneurs and creating a design
collection. With this joint venture, our intention is to sift through
the abundant decor products available and curate a collection of our
favorite pieces. We intend to bring brands to the public that may only
be known in the design community and make them more accessible. In
addition, we will be designing and fabricating our own custom pieces.
Our mission is to align our personal design visions with our passion for
interiors to curate a unique, timeless and sophisticated collection.“
Nina Naqvi
Nina Naqvi is a licensed Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects, with a passion for interior architecture and
interior design. When she isn't sourcing new products for Parallax Atelier, she runs her own interior design practice, called 'Nina Naqvi Designs' and is a building official at the Toronto building department
at the City of Toronto.
Divia LaPenna
Divia LaPenna is a Toronto based Interior Architect with a passion for all things beautiful! When she isn't sourcing product for Parallax Atelier, Divia runs her (now 20 year old) Interior Design business, called 'Divia LaPenna Design.
